Bijsterhuizen - Nijmegen
This large-scale development brings together functionality and modern design in a commercial complex featuring a variety of units — from large and medium-sized garage boxes to smaller office spaces. The architecture is defined by its dynamic façade, where natural wood elements and expansive glass surfaces play a central role. The second floor is finished with ribbed metal sheeting, giving the building a sleek industrial identity while maintaining visual balance.
Project details
The concept focused on creating a flexible and visually appealing work environment that caters to a wide range of businesses. The combination of warm wooden textures, transparent glazing, and rugged metal cladding creates a harmonious blend of openness and strength. The wood softens the industrial aesthetic, introducing a natural and inviting character that enhances both user experience and curb appeal.

This ArchViz project aimed to capture the rich contrast between materials and highlight the scale and modularity of the design. Particular attention was paid to lighting, glass reflections, and wood grain details to bring the architecture to life in a realistic and compelling way. The varying sizes of the units were carefully visualized to communicate the building’s adaptability and potential for mixed commercial use.

This project offered an exciting challenge in balancing material richness with architectural clarity. The final result is a clean, professional, and scalable business complex that stands out through its thoughtful use of natural and industrial materials. It demonstrates how quality design can elevate even utilitarian spaces into attractive and future-ready environments.
